Service Dog Task Training & Coaching

Eligibility & Non-Discrimintory Statement

K9s Blossom utilizes eligibility criteria and testing for the Service Dog specific training (Task, PA, etc) we provide to preserve the integrity of service dogs and prevent the rampant, fraudulent impersonation of Service Dogs.

We do not discriminate against any human applicant based on race, color, creed, gender, religion, marital status, age, nationality, physical or mental disability, medical condition, sexual orientation, citizenship status, military service status or any other consideration as indicated by federal, state or local laws.

K9sBlossom does not discriminate against service dog prospect applicants or established service dog applicants based on purebred/kennel status, size*, breed*, nor mix.

*Mobility Service Dog Teams whose Dogs do not meet adequate height at the withers, girth, and weight in correlation to the Handler's weight/height and mobility needs will be turned down for MOBILITY TASKWORK -if- the pairing is unsafe, as said by guidelines curated by orthopedic veterinarians or canine physical therapists.

*Wolf Dogs, High-Low Content or otherwise, undomesticated or feral dogs are prohibited from becoming Service Dogs under the ADA.)

However, if your service dog prospect or established service dog applicant is unfit for servicework either by advanced age, physical disability  (deafness, blindness, organ defects, arthritis, bone disorders, etc), deformation, displays unhealthy cognitive behaviours/poor mental health, genetic instability, such as, but not limited to chronic resource guarding, visible anxiety/stress manifested in body language and/or vocalizations, all forms of reactivity, bite history, unwillingness to work due to stress/trauma, or chronic over-arousal on the job.

K9sBlossom reserves the right to refuse or suspend all SERVICE DOG related services without refund.

The REMAINING SESSIONS/amount paid for SD training may roll over for Behaviour Rehabilitation or Reactivity Prevention for up to two weeks after our last session.

Still here?

Wonderful! I'd love to talk to you and help your team learn how to work harmoniously and Blossom together.

I specialize in assisting Owner Trainers in raising and training ADA-compliant, custom task trained Service Dogs that meet or exceed IAADP minimum training standards for a wide variety of disabilities.

Refer to my Instagram Infographic about my Application Steps and more!

Feel free to send me an email, text, call, or Instagram message about your dog, needs, or merely to establish a connection.

We will be working together for a long while and I must know about your disability's symptoms in order to create customized task options that you will pick. I understand the sensitive nature of that information and all shared about personal history is 100% confidential.

It is important that you feel heard, supported, and safe during this learning experience.

For ease, you can use the contact form below to send me an email to ask questions, voice concerns, inquire for monthly training fees, and generally get started!

No questions will be turned away unless completely irrelevant to training or inappropriate to myself/others.
